Our story

About King's Cross Church

A congregation of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches in Coaldale, Alberta.

King's Cross Reformed Church is a congregation of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches in Coaldale, Alberta. We are a mission church of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cochrane, AB.

A group of families from across Southern Alberta came together with a shared desire to see a faithful Reformed church planted — one that would glorify God through reverent worship, the faithful preaching of His Word, and the making of disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our first Lord’s Day worship service was held on 22 February 2026 at The Hub in Coaldale. Since then, our goal has been to worship the Triune God faithfully through the ordinary means of grace: the preaching of the whole counsel of God, the weekly administration of Christ’s sacraments, prayer, and the joyful fellowship of His people.

Our Final Authority

We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and sufficient Word of God — our final authority for faith and life.

Why we exist

To the Ends of the Earth

King's Cross Reformed Church exists to glorify God through public, reverent worship, to proclaim Jesus Christ to the world, and to build up His people through faithful preaching, the sacraments, and loving, joyful fellowship.

We long to see Christ’s kingdom advance in Coaldale, throughout Southern Alberta, and to the ends of the earth.
